Warm Welcomes Amid Frigid Temperatures
Our trip last week to the "T" in
Pittsburgh and Greater Cleveland
4:08 pm est
RTA was very successful and very cold. We drove through a snow storm to Pittsburgh
for an afternoon demo on the Port Authority of Allegheny County's
Light Rail Line. We then headed to Cleveland
for demos the next morning
at the Central Rail Facility and the Windermere Station. This was followed by meetings
with Power Way & Signal and Car Equipment personnel.
Quotations were requested by both agencies for our
Rail Current Detectors.

Next Stops-Pittsburgh's "T" and Greater Cleveland RTA
11:30 am est
We will be traveling next
week to Pittsburgh and Cleveland
for demos of our Scanning Audio Frequency Rail Current
Detectors. After being
referred to or finding the right signal people
at each agency, we contacted them and sent the cut sheets
rail current units. Within a day, the demonstrations
were requested and scheduled with the Port Authority of Allegheny
County and Greater Cleveland Regional Transportation.
Several agencies on the west coast have
demos of our products in the last month.

Veritech in Development Phase of New Signal Test Device
9:49 am est
The latest Veritranz branded device
is under development as I post to this blog. After much research and customer input, Veritech is designing
a new "Rail-Specific", handheld frequency selectable voltmeter for signal
and signal level will be measured and displayed over a wide range of pre-programmed user-definable frequencies. This device
will allow both signal maintenance and signal construction personnel to troubleshoot signal issues, set up
new track circuit levels, or calibrate existing track circuits. We expect to have a prototype unit ready for demo by
Update on our Rail Current Detectors

New Year to all of our transportation customers and contacts !
to a healthy, safe, and productive 2014 for all.
We continue to make inroads with our Rail Current
Detectors into new
customers, while strengthening relationships
with our existing users.
We received orders for another six of our Multi Frequency units from New Jersey Transit Commuter
Rail last month bringing them to a total of 12
units in the field. After successful demos at SEPTA Light Rail &
Subway in November we were informed about a requisition for four of our Scanning Audio Frequency units from that department.
DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) has had a Scanning Audio unit on loan for evaluation
after an onsite demo in September. They expect to request
two units after identifying signal issues not seen by
Three more west coast transit agencies have expressed interest in our
Rail Current Detectors,
hopefully resulting in another successful demo trip.
